In the 21 years of its existence, the MF of Outdoor Films has become the largest competitive travelling film festival not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the world. The festival focuses on sports and life with an outdoor theme, on adventure, extreme, adrenaline and travel films. The films take us to different places on our planet, show the mentality and culture of the local inhabitants. They take us to environments where the ordinary "mortal" cannot go. Many films have a great social and emotional charge. The festival is attended by Czech, Slovak and foreign authors, film studios, national television and private television companies, both professional and amateur. The festival and this film genre also has its own special specificity and uniqueness. Films do not play at anything, what the viewer sees is the reality that has taken place.
