About the band "Lédl Jazz Q was formed in 1996 as a small group of Turnov big band. The band was christened by the father of Turnov jazz, big band band leader Láďa Hlubůček," the band members say about the formation of the band. If we look at the repertoire under a magnifying glass, we find that it includes jazz standards by M. Davis, T. Monk, Ch. Parker, A. C. Jobim, but also more recent compositions by Ch. Corea, J. Zawinul, H. Hancock, K. Růžička and M. Svoboda. Lédl Jazz Q today consists of Ivan Hájek (bass), Robert Tomáš (drums), Bohuslav Lédl (piano) and Marek Buble (saxophone).
The Turnov jazz stalwarts will play original compositions and well-known jazz standards. Let yourself be pleasantly tuned by an evening full of jazz performed by the Bohuslav Lédl Quartet. Admission is voluntary.
