The premiere will feature a piece inspired by Lukáš's last visit to Peru. Lukáš Sommer is a leading figure of the young composer generation. His creative range includes classical music as well as frequent arranging and, last but not least, he is the author of a unique guitar recital. As a guitarist he regularly performs in the Czech Republic and abroad. Since 1998 he has studied guitar at the České Budějovice Conservatory in the class of Prof. Vilma Manová and composition in the class of Prof. Jiří Churáček. In 2003 he studied for one year in the class of Prof. Věroslav Neumann at the Prague Conservatory. In 2009 he completed his studies of composition at the Academy of Performing Arts in the composition class of Prof. Ivan Kurz. He is the author of orchestral, chamber, vocal and instructional music. In addition to regular performances at home, his music has been performed in Tokyo, Amsterdam, Paris, Vienna, Toronto, Seoul, Bratislava, Selbu and Bremerhaven. His scores are regularly published by Kopp edition, Talacko edition and the Czech Radio Publishing House. Sommer is also a sought-after arranger of popular and film music, working for prestigious Czech and international agencies. He has collaborated with composer and producer Ondřej Soukup, the band Nezmaři, Anna K, Karel Mařík. In 2012, he founded the Tone.Point arranging division, with which he realized some international projects for the Indian, American and Chinese markets. In 2011, he wrote the flute concerto Letter to my Father commissioned by the Prague Spring Festival, thus becoming the youngest composer in the festival's history. We will meet in the very pleasant environment of the Kittel House café in Krásná - Pěnčín near Jablonec nad Nisou. The concert starts at 6:00 pm (we recommend to come earlier, sit down and order something good from the café's offer)

Acoustic concert and friendly meeting. An original evening of composer and guitarist Lukáš Sommer, who made his successful debut at the American Carnegie Hall. A concert combined with elements of ethnic music, assembled with ingredients from several continents, often linked to a personal story.
