Livin Free

Klub na Rampě

The band was founded at the end of 2018 by the singer and keyboard player Honza Holeček (Energit, Luboš Andršt Blues Band and many more). First he collaborated with his longtime colleague from the Energit band, bass guitar legend Vladimír Guma Kulhánek, with whom he gradually arranged the material for a planned album. After much deliberation, the two decided to invite very talented, albeit very young musicians from the local club scene to collaborate, namely guitar player Tomáš Frolík (graduate of Academy of C. Music in London, master class by R. Ford) and drummer Michael Nosek (a graduate of the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts, JAMU), best known for their involvement in the band The Bladder Stones. Livin Free plays rock, but she's only influenced by American music, primarily blues, southern rock, and gospel. The band combines experiences with wild energy, three generations of musicians come together, united by their love of music... The album "Voices from Beyond" was released in November 2020.
