Canadian blues phenomenon and European Blues Awards "Best Female Vocalist" winner Layla Zoe released her new album, her thirteenth, entitled "The World Could Change" in November 2022. A tour for the album is scheduled for spring 2023, with the singer coming to us in April. "For me, there is nothing as exciting as being on stage with my band and giving out pieces of my heart to the audience through my singing. I love writing songs, I enjoy recording them in the studio, but performing live is what I love most about my job." Layla says about herself. Ten years since the collaboration on "The Lily", she has teamed up again with Henrik Freischlader to create another collaborative work under the supervision of sound master Martin Meinschaefer in Arnsberg, Germany. Henrik devised the music, recorded all the instruments in addition to the keyboards, Layla supplied the vocal lines and lyrics. The result is a collection of gentle ballads, soul, blues, rock and gospel, with lyrics touching on pain, politics, love and courage. The singer is one of those who can reflect her whole life into her expression. Her range of expression extends from a gentle whisper to an all-out vocal explosion. If you like unadulterated, honest and sensitive rock music, this album is for you.
