Jamaron [Džamaron] is a Czech rock band led by charismatic frontwoman Maria Dostálová. Her unmistakable voice, surrounded by the dense sound of the electric guitars and the uncompromising drums, is the dominant feature of this young five-piece band. Jamaron pride themselves on their clear and meaningful Czech lyrics that many listeners can easily identify with. Another plus is the strong, catchy choruses and the youthful energy that emanates from the stage at each of their concerts. This is not the only reason why they are among the most exciting young rock bands today. This is also proven by their victory in the Ladder poll, where they won the 2020 Discovery of the Year award. On YouTube, for example, they have several million views of their songs. This puts them in the top 100 most listened to bands in the country. Jamaron on Generace Tour vol.2. In spring 2022 the band released their last album "Generace" which was recorded at Studio Sono under the direction of Adam Karlik. The band's new dense sound brings Jamaron into the top rock league of our country.
