HOW TO LIVE AND LEARN IN NEPAL

| Na Rampě Club

A year ago, Linda Rous spent three months in Nepal in the village of Sasodhara, below the eight-thousand-foot Dhaulagiri, where she lived with a local family and taught English. In her spare time she climbed a few peaks and saddles in the area. Linda went to Nepal as a volunteer for Namaste Nepal, which helps poor people under the Himalayan peaks. The association, headed by chairman Tomas Beranek, not only provides humanitarian aid in times of need, but also focuses on development aid and education support. It provides education to the poorest children, helps build schools and sends volunteers to schools.

Linda Rousová and Tomáš Beránek talk about the life of Nepalis in remote areas and teaching English in a small Nepalese school.
