How I Got Lost or A Little Christmas Story - Ludvík Aškenázy

| City Theatre, Mladá Boleslav

Městské divadlo Mladá Boleslav

Little Pavlik the Carpenter lost his daddy one Christmas Eve. And because he was in no hurry to get home, he walked through Christmas Prague. He met the Lord with the carp, a little girl who goes to get beer for her father, the last lamplighter in Prague, visited the White Swan and Hell (actually a warehouse of a pub on Wenceslas Square), but most of all he met the postman Klement and his horse Karlička. Klement gave him a wonderful little puppet show, with puppets not only of Pavlik himself, but of everyone he met that day, including Andersen's dreamy Little Match Girl... The author of the adaptation and director Jan Borna gave the story the form of a theatre revue and literally peppered it with live hits of the 1960s. Performed by the Theatre in Dlouhá Prague

A theatre revue not only for those who were young in the 60s.
