The biggest festival of Jablonec's cultural summer will enliven the town centre for the third time from Friday 22 August to Saturday 23 August. The modern cultural festival combines glassmaking and bric-a-brac traditions with gastronomy, music and colourful markets. It is dedicated to all the inhabitants of Jablonec nad Nisou and the Liberec Region, as well as tourists who have come to visit the capital of glass and costume jewellery. The name refers to Jablonec's glass and costume jewellery tradition (pearls) as well as to interesting achievements in the field of art, gastronomy or music (pearls).

A voluntary ticket to the event is a bead, glass, seed bead or piece of jewellery. From the donated trinkets a growing work of art is created, which becomes a reflection of all of us.
The event is organized by the Statutory Town of Jablonec nad Nisou through the organization Kultura Jablonec p.o. and the Museum of Glass and Costume Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou. The co-organisers are SUNDISK s.r.o. and the District Chamber of Commerce.
