Dramatisation of the successful prose of the same name by Irena Douskova. The heroine of the story, Helenka Součková, a second-grade pupil of a nine-year-old primary school, suggestively guides us through the tragicomic years of Hussák's normalisation, as it was projected into the world of children and adults in the early 1970s. Against the backdrop of a school and theatre in an "unnamed" district town, a sequence of comic incidents, embarrassing experiences, minor and major misfortunes unfolds, which little Helenka not only experiences, but also evaluates and comments on with the immediacy of her age.
