The two countries together, almost the size of Czechoslovakia, offer a lot. Starting from the volcanoes of El Salvador with its colourful chemical crater lakes, Pacific beaches, old colonial cities with an unmistakable atmosphere, Mayan monuments, interesting highest peaks of both countries, lakes and waterfalls. Some of the specificities of Honduras are not left out. We will see the highest peaks of El Salvador (2730 m) and Honduras (2849 m), we will also climb 4 other Salvadoran volcanoes. We will see the old Spanish colonial cities of Santa Ana, Copán, Gracias, Comayagua, ... In Copán, Honduras, there is one of the largest complexes of Mayan monuments. But Honduras also attracts the huge, charming Lake Yojoa with its nearby waterfall on the Rio Lindo or the first capital until 1888, Comayagua. We end our journey on the most beautiful Pacific beaches of Central America at El Cuco.
