HENRIK FREISCHLADER BAND (GER)

| Na Rampě Club

In the spring we had the opportunity to see Canadian blues singer Layla Zoe. Her latest album "The World Could Change" was produced by Henrik. Blues enthusiast, multi-instrumentalist (he recorded all the music besides keyboards), composer, producer and last but not least the owner of Cable Car Records, which released the album. He picked up the guitar influenced by such greats as Jimi Hendrix and Gary Moore. The style of this Irish guitar genius in particular still keeps Henrik up to this day. His friend Joe Bonamassa once said of him, with some exaggeration, "I hate him because I have to work hard every night for guys like Henrik." He has released approximately 20 albums since 2006. The first ones were really bluesy and raw, and gradually elements of funk and later jazz began to appear. He announced a return to his musical roots with last year's "Recorded by Martin Meinschäfer II" and before we could experience it, a new album, "Little Big Beat Studio Live Session", was ready for release. Both albums herald Henrik's return to club stages. The backing band consists of musicians familiar from his past line-ups - Moritz Fuhrhop on Hammond, Armin Alic on bass and veteran Hardy Fischötter on drums. Live, the band tries to make up for what has been missed in recent years. Overall the music is rockier and of course a bit louder than on the internet. In addition to the new songs, there will also be favourites from older albums. The concert is definitely worth a visit.
