Six-year-old Ondra suffers from asthma, and so his favourite toy - pink teddy bear Kuky - has to go away for "health reasons". When his mother throws Kuky in the trash, Ondra's imagination starts to work, where he experiences the bear's stories in the unknown natural world. But is this really just a little boy's dream, or is Kuky really off on the biggest adventure of his cuddly life? Kuky Returns is a truly unique film in the context of contemporary domestic cinema, not only for its focus on family audiences connecting children and adults, but also for its unconventional and modern combination of live-action and animation, full of action scenes and witty dialogue.
