The most beautiful melodies of the silver and gold operetta

Always green melodies from the most popular operettas sound in a festival of blooming operetta dreams. Outstanding soloists impress with their spirited playing and brilliant voices.

Musicians - members of the Teplice Philharmonic Orchestra and ballet soloists of the Elbe Ballet Ústí nad Labem are experienced and celebrated artists of many international tours. The special love of this program goes to the composers Johann Stauß and Franz Lehár.

It was not without reason that Johann Strauss was crowned King of the Waltz during his lifetime. Johann Strauss composed almost 500 waltzes, marches and polkas, most of which achieved world fame. The most popular ones can still be heard in concert halls all over the world today. He has become immortal as the waltz king, and his melodies continue to inspire today. Not only the well-known arias and duets from “Die Fledermaus”, “Vienna Blood” and “A Night in Venice” are among the musical highlights of the world of operetta, but also orchestral works such as “Unter Donner und Blitz” and “Wein, Wib und Lieder” are directly linked to his life's work.

The "Fest der Operette" lights up every stage and becomes a special gift for all fans of unforgettable melodies from the colorful and glittering world of operetta.

Franz Lehár, one of the fathers of the “Golden Operetta”, still delights his audience today with melodies such as “Yours is my whole heart”, “My love, your love”, “Who has sunk love into our hearts”. ‎
