The film is set in the summer of 1957. In the year when the former car racer Ferrari finds himself in a big crisis. He is dealing with problems in his marriage, the death of his son, but also the bankruptcy of the company he trusted. The story depicts not only the protagonist, but also other members of his family, who defined the idea of the powerful Italian sports car and practically stood at the birth of Formula 1 racing as well as the legendary car brand.
