GIRL WAR - The authors, producers and actors involved say that Girl War is the most successful and most performed of all the plays in the Czech Republic. Its attractiveness lies primarily in the lightness of the genre, the exaggeration, the themes used and the cast. The author of the comedy is František Ringo Čech. He wrote it in 1986 and since then the comedy has been performed and audiences have been coming to see it ever since. "I wrote The Girl's War to suit the Czech nation. It's all about his style of humour and the areas it touches on, such as eroticism and politics. In addition, it is a relaxing genre in which we bring a feast of the most beautiful women our impoverished homeland has at its disposal.
