Hockey player Rost'a Beran (Vladimír Polívka) is a fighter in every way. He lives in a luxury apartment, has a fast car and a lot of young lovers in the spirit of the motto: I don't marry over 30! Money and the title of world champion give him a wonderful feeling of untouchability and superiority. But nothing lasts forever... An unexpected collapse in bed with a beautiful blonde puts a thick EKG line behind Rost's miserable well-being. The transplant of his new heart will be led by the strict doctor Magda (Petra Hřebíčková), with whom he once spent a single night and never heard from again. Moreover, the debts from his dissolute life will deprive Rost'a of his last crown and the only thing left from his glorious life is a world champion medal, which is saved for him by his former manager and friend (Vojtěch Kotek). Rost'a must find new life energy, optimism and courage to start again from scratch. He is helped especially by Jindřich (Jan Cina), a serious and responsible guy who raises a six-year-old daughter by himself, has a heart of gold and although he hates Rost'a sincerely at first, they soon become best friends. Rost'a is surprised to discover that the lives of ordinary mortals can be as wonderful and unique as the love of the right woman over thirty...
