From award-winning director Denis Villeneuve comes the next chapter of Frank Herbert's famous novel Dune, with an international star-studded cast. From Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures is the highly-anticipated sequel to the six-time Oscar-winning "Dune" from 2021. "In the second installment, Paul Atreides teams up with the Chani and the Fremen while embarking on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Faced with a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he tries to prevent a terrible future that only he can foresee. Villeneuve directed from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jon Spaihts based on Herbert's novel. The film was co-written by Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Villeneuve, Tanya Lapointe and Patrick McCormick. Executive producers are Josh Grode, Herbert W. Gains, Jon Spaihts, Thomas Tull, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, Kim Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson serves as creative consultant. Villeneuve once again collaborates with the creators of his "Dune": Oscar-winning cinematographer Greig Fraser, Oscar-winning production designer Patrice Vermette, Oscar-winning editor Joe Walker, Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert and Oscar-nominated costume designer Jacqueline West. Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer once again contributes to the music. The film was shot in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Italy.
