Ray Cooney's wacky comedy tells the story that even a member of the government shouldn't get involved with a married secretary. And if he chooses a hotel for a fling where his wife is also staying and the Chinese staff don't understand him very well, it's an unmitigated disaster. Then you need a reliable secretary who can produce alibis that leave you speechless. But when a puritanical MP and a cheating husband get involved, it's clear that all hell will break loose in the hotel.
