There is great joy in the land: a poor boy was born with a lucky skin and is to marry the princess one day. But the king, who has already promised his daughter to a noble prince, tries to prevent this by all means and sends the cheerful boy to hell, where he is to fetch three golden hairs from the devil's head.
Whether he succeeds, and what a band of robbers and the devil's grandmother have to do with it, you will find out in our fairy tale performance.
