Visitors can look forward to a tour of the tram depot in Liberec and its technical background, which is not normally accessible to the public. The public transport fleet, including historic cars, will be available for viewing. The programme will include nostalgic rides in historic cars to the city centre and back to the tram depot in Tatranská Street. The organisers of the event, which is held in cooperation with the Ministry for Regional Development of the Czech Republic, will also offer a varied accompanying and cultural programme. A number of interesting and entertaining activities for the whole family at various stations are prepared. There will be a free photo corner, a 360° video corner, virtual reality, self-made badges with pictures of public transport vehicles, a wheel of fortune, a vote for the best EU-funded project, a fun blind map, a tablet game and face painting. Europe2 presenter Bob Švarc will give a talk about transport and interesting guests will also talk about transport. Live music will be performed by students of the Liberec Primary Art School and finally the guest of the day - the Vladimír Band. The programme in the carriage house will be complemented by the following guests: Fire Brigade of the Liberec Region "Dynamic demonstration of the intervention of professional firefighters" in a collision between a vehicle and a tram (approx. 14:00) Technical Museum Liberec with an automotive exhibit and Boveraclub with its unique historic bus Praga RND from 1947 .The restored line bus MAN NL 202 (2) from Chemnitz converted into a mobile "Bus", where the interior of the city bus is completely converted into an exhibition space for the public. All programs at the DPMLJ are free of charge. No prior registration is required for the tours.

After several years, the Transport Company of Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou will open the tram depot area to the general public and public transport lovers. The event is also suitable for families with children. You are cordially invited.
