French comedy. One day, Caroline takes a long moment to read the novel-in-progress of her husband, the successful novelist Guillaume, and can't believe her eyes. The novel's hero, about an aging man's extramarital affair with an attractive young girl, bears a striking resemblance to the author himself. And he even suspects which girl it might be. At a dinner party with her friends Eric and Sylvia, she decides to confront her husband with her suspicions. What ensues is a mess full of surprising twists and turns and delicate revelations.
