Charlie Nightingale Revue & The Rhythm Girls

| Letní scéna

Charlie Slavik is the most renowned harmonica player in the Czech Republic. In 2013, he was the only Czech in history to participate in the prestigious IBC International Blues Competition in Memphis, USA, where he reached the semi-finals. His ability to use the instrument across genres is evidenced by the many recordings he has participated in as a soloist. He has performed with a variety of local and international bands not only in Europe but also in the U.S. His new project, Charlie Nightingale Revue, is an effort to bring the blues to a European audience. Blues in all its shades, uncompromisingly vibrant, in an authentic form and with unbridled energy. Played in a way that few can. It also touches the fine line with related genres such as soul, swing and doo-wop. His own work, which forms an integral part of the Revue's repertoire, is interspersed with famous blues tunes during his performances. And this time his show gets even more glamour: he will perform with The Rhythm Girls, aka the Ježek sisters, ethereal beings and magnificent singers.
