Beata Rajská was born in Liptovský Mikuláš. She graduated from the Secondary Industrial School of Clothing in Trenčín (1980) and the Faculty of Philosophy of Comenius University in Bratislava (1986). Already as a student she won several awards at fashion competitions. She said goodbye to fashion for a while, only to return to it in 1993 (shortly after the birth of her second son) as a teacher at a clothing school. Since 1997 she has been successfully running her own business in the fashion industry and in 2001 she founded the company Beata Rajská - design, s.r.o.
