Dance piece by Dan Pelleg and Marko E. Weigert

Important note: this performance uses stroboscopic effects which, under certain circumstances, can trigger epileptic seizures at certain flash frequencies.

Water is the basis of all life. About 70 percent of the earth's surface is covered by water. People have always benefited from water in one way or another. But it not only provides the basis of life for all living beings, it can also deprives them of it. However, respect for the power of nature also inspired people's imagination and curiousity.

The elixir of life plays an important role in myths and religion. Although water seems like something we take for granted, we should not forget what a great good it is and that a large part of humanity does not have an abundance of it.

"Above all, the perception of water through our senses - its sound, its sight, and especially its haptics inspire the dance company to deal with the topic and to create from it the new dance evening AQUA."
