Czech singer and winner of 5 Andel awards. She is also a regular nominee in the Ladder poll of Report magazine, where she was voted by the readers as the Singer of the Year in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Although she released her debut album I Don't Forget back in 1993, it wasn't until six years later that she had her breakthrough album Nebe, which marked the beginning of her musical collaboration with her life partner Tomáš Vartecký. Their duo fully developed on the album Night on Earth, followed in 2006 by Večernice.
In 2010, the singer successfully underwent treatment for breast cancer and then became involved in two of her own campaigns encouraging women to get early screening and regular check-ups. Her experience of fighting the disease is reflected in the recording Relative Time.
