František Jaroš, an alternative singer-songwriter, frontman of the band Tamdoletma, uses guitar, synthesizer and sound loops layered on top of each other to describe a feeling, an atmosphere, moments, like images made of sound and words. Tomáš J. Holý, experimental guitarist, uses the acoustic guitar as a complex instrument for creating sound. He is one of the Czech leaders in the percussive style of guitar playing, using various strikes on the instrument in addition to standard techniques to create tones. Using a looper and other boxes, he creates soundscape post-rock compositions.
